The National Sports Council's purpose is to establish, expand, and promote sports in order to produce healthy, capable, dignified, disciplined players and innovative citizens; to promote national unity and enhance the nation's prestige; to conduct studies and research in the field of sports and to develop, expand, and promote sports.
